How do I steer the snake?

Swipe in the direction you want to turn. The snake will keep moving until you steer again or it hits something.

How do I save my high score?

Your best score saves automatically and survives quitting the app. It's shown in the header during gameplay and on the game-over screen. Power-ups and boosts are next, in v1.1.

Is there a paid version?

No. Snake Unchained 2026 is free, with no ads and no in-app purchases. Future updates will be free too.

Does the app collect any data?

No. The app runs entirely on your phone and has no internet connection. See our privacy policy for details.

What devices does it support?

iPhone running iOS 17 or later. iPad support is not in v1.0.
